About The Position

This Western regional fleet offers short runs, typically 2 days or less, primarily within the 11 Western states. Drivers can expect to be home every two weeks with steady weekly miles. Riders and pets are welcome after the initial training period. The position is open to new CDL-A graduates with paid training provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school (for new graduates).
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• Valid license in current state of residence.
• Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

• Option to run further than the 11 Western states for more miles.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle in the Western region (11 states).
• Complete short runs, most loads are 2 days or less.
• Maintain steady weekly miles.
• Train with an experienced driver for 4-6 weeks.
• Perform hand unloads, assist with unloads, and handle stop-offs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Pass drug and alcohol testing.
