About The Position

This Western regional fleet offers short runs, typically 2 days or less, within the 11 Western states. Drivers can opt to run further for more miles. The position offers steady weekly miles and drivers can expect to be home every 2 weeks. Riders and pets are welcome after the training period. The company provides paid training for new CDL-A holders, lasting 4 to 6 weeks over the road with an experienced trainer, followed by full solo driver pay. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• Trainees welcome: just a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• Valid license in current state of residence.
• Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school.

• Option to run further than the 11 Western states for more miles.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle within the 11 Western states.
• Complete short runs, typically 2 days or less.
• Maintain steady weekly miles.
• Participate in paid training with an experienced trainer for 4-6 weeks.
• Perform hand unloads and assist with unloads as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
