About The Position

Drive a dedicated regional retail account for DOLLAR TREE based in Joliet, Illinois. Drivers average approximately 970 miles per week, complete three turns per week, and make three to five stops per load. The work involves touch freight: unloading dry freight using rollers. Delivery territory includes Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. Drivers are home weekly and receive a 34-hour weekly reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on driver location. Drivers use automatic sleeper trucks and 53-foot dry van trailers. Drivers may take trucks home if they have a safe and secure parking location. Pay averages $1,800 per week ($93,600 annually), with top pay of $2,000 per week ($104,000 annually). Pay opportunities include mileage, unload, and backhaul pay. A $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus is offered.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Comfortable unloading freight with rollers and handling physical, touch-freight work.
Flexible with the schedule and weekly reset days.
Clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card.
Drivers with SAP are not accepted.
