About The Position
DOLLAR TREE is hiring a regional CDL-A driver for a dedicated dry van account based in the Joliet, Illinois area. Drivers earn an average of $1,850 per week, with top weekly earnings of $2,000 and top annualized pay of $104,000. Compensation includes mileage pay, unload pay, and backhaul pay. The role involves approximately 970 miles per week, around three turns weekly, and three to five stops per load. Drivers deliver dry freight across Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky, and unload freight using rollers. Equipment includes automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53-foot dry van trailers. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Available schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on location. Drivers may park their trucks at home if they have a safe, secure, authorized location.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Drivers with SAP status are not eligible.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
- A safe, secure, authorized place to park the truck is required if taking it home.
Responsibilities
