Regional CDL-A Driver – $1,800 Weekly + Unload & Backhaul Pay
About The Position
Drive dedicated regional dry van freight for DOLLAR TREE from the Joliet, Illinois area. The delivery territory includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and northern Kentucky. Drivers average approximately 970 miles per week and three turns per week, with around three to five stops per load. Freight is hand-unloaded using rollers. Drivers operate automatic sleeper trucks pulling 53-foot dry van trailers. Weekly home time includes a 34-hour reset, typically Saturday–Sunday or Sunday–Monday. Schedules are Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, depending on location. Home truck parking is permitted when the location is safe and secure. Compensation is based on mileage pay plus unload and backhaul pay; the posting lists average weekly pay of $1,800, average annual pay of $93,600, top weekly pay of $2,000, and top annualized pay of $104,000.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be a SAP driver.
- Ability to safely unload freight using rollers.
- Ability to complete multi-stop regional routes.
- Additional qualifications may apply.
Responsibilities
