About The Position
Hershey is hiring a local CDL-A Driver based in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. The role runs local routes within a 200-mile radius of Palmyra, transporting refrigerated freight with 53-foot trailers. Drivers handle multiple loads per day, including live loads and drop-and-hook operations. The position uses automatic day cab trucks and operates on a slip-seat basis. The schedule is six days per week, approximately 12 hours per day, on the night shift, with various consecutive days off. Drivers are home daily. Average weekly pay is $1,730, average annual pay is $93,833, and top annual pay is $116,640. Compensation includes experience-based ring pay, a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay, and a $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must live within 30 miles of the plant.
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
- No SAP drivers.
