About The Position
We are hiring experienced Hazmat CDL-A Flex drivers to haul auto parts for a dedicated Advance Auto Parts account. Drivers earn competitive hourly pay, travel to support different operations, and receive a sign-on bonus. Average annual pay is $104,000, with top annual pay of $115,000. Hourly pay is $40 straight time, with $25 per layover in per diem. The $5,000 sign-on bonus begins with its first payment after 30 days. Pay is issued weekly. Assignments involve travel for up to four weeks at a time, followed by one week off between assignments. Routes include a mix of multi-stop deliveries and occasional shuttle runs through Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri. Drivers haul auto parts in dry van trailers using newer automatic Freightliner sleeper trucks. Driver unloading is required at each stop, using a lift gate and electric pallet jack.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Hazmat endorsement.
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
Responsibilities
