About The Position
Drive for a dedicated Charter Steel account based in Saukville, Wisconsin, hauling steel products with flatbed and dry van trailers. The role offers newer equipment, activity-based pay, and daily home time. Drivers average $1,500 per week or $81,000 per year, with pay including $0.755 per mile, $34 for tarping, $18 for backhauls, $23 per live load, $23 per hour for breakdowns and detention, and $42 for loads under 120 round-trip miles. Pay is issued weekly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with start times between 3 AM and 6 AM. Nights and weekends are off.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
