About The Position

This is a client-facing role responsible for developing business relationships, mapping accounts, and understanding business unit breakdowns to align regional and global teams. The position involves running Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by Crane Worldwide offices servicing the account, and monitoring, analyzing, and distributing reports. The role also includes conducting performance management for the reporting team, performing regular market analysis and industry awareness, and driving internal collaborative efforts by sharing best practices in client reviews, strategic business plans, value-add programs, process improvements, tender management, and technology solutions. Additionally, the role involves leading and reviewing impact and coverage analyses to identify service and opportunity gaps, directing account monitoring activities to ensure timely payment and collection, and creating and implementing business development plans with short-term and long-term business objectives for the region. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in sales, account management, or operations in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of transportation industry logistics and freight forwarding.
  • Thorough knowledge of successful sales techniques.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
  • Good analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures.

  • California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 95,000 - 130,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the business relationship with clients.

  • Run QBRs and ensure proper preparation.
  • Ensure all Crane Worldwide offices servicing the account understand and execute SOPs.
  • Monitor, analyze, and distribute reports.
  • Conduct performance management for the reporting team.
  • Perform regular market analysis and industry awareness.
  • Drive collaborative efforts internally by supporting and sharing best practices.
  • Lead and review impact and coverage analyses to identify service and opportunity gaps.
  • Direct account monitoring activities to ensure timely payment and collection.
  • Create and implement business development plans with short-term and long-term business objectives for the region.
