Refrigeration Maintenance - All Shifts - Vernon, TX
About The Position
This full-time refrigeration maintenance position is with Tyson Foods in Vernon, Texas. The successful candidate will operate and maintain refrigeration systems, troubleshoot refrigeration and HVAC equipment, and help maintain a safe work environment while following Tyson policies and procedures. Openings are available on all shifts, with third-shift openings and a shift increase for third shift. Pay level is determined during the interview based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. Employees may progress quickly through levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills. The role includes a two-week trial period and requires availability as a member of the emergency response team.
Requirements
- Refrigeration/HVAC and electrical experience.
- At least 12 consecutive months of work history in a refrigeration maintenance-related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness and ability to serve as a member of the emergency response team.
- Must be out of probation and have no more than 4.0 attendance points; selected candidates must maintain 4.0 points or less before transferring into the job.
- No written warnings or suspensions in the last 6 months.
- Must submit a resume.
- Ability and willingness to meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
