Refrigeration Lead Maint - Dept 425S
About The Position
The Refrigeration Lead Maint assists the Supervisor with coordinating the department’s daily responsibilities, ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out timely and correctly. The role operates and maintains refrigeration systems and troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The position may work in any department in this beef processing facility. It is slated for team members currently working at this facility or complex; team members at another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
Requirements
- Must be Level 8 maintenance or above.
- Candidates with four or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered.
- Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience preferred.
