About The Position

Tommy Gun's is the world's largest barber franchise with over 100 locations across Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking individuals to help us find the right people to keep our shops thriving. This role is for someone who is people-focused, organized, and eager to learn. The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for connecting barbers with suitable shops by responding to leads, engaging in conversations, managing the candidate pipeline, and ensuring no qualified candidate is missed.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills; warm, clear, and confident communication over the phone
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to follow through independently
Comfortable with quickly learning and utilizing new tools and systems
Positive, team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

Experience in recruitment, customer service, hospitality, or sales
Familiarity with LinkedIn or job boards
Interest in the barbering or grooming industry

Responsibilities

Respond to candidate enquiries by phone, email, and text
Conduct initial calls with candidates to assess their experience and availability
Match candidates to appropriate stores and follow up to track outcomes
Maintain candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process
Assist with posting job advertisements and managing candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Proactively build and maintain a candidate database using platforms like LinkedIn, Google, Workable, and barber communities
Source passive candidates and initiate meaningful conversations
Support outreach efforts through social media, barber events, trade fairs, and school career days
