The Career Centre at the University of Alberta is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support new and existing employer clients in their recruitment activities on campus. This role involves vetting employers to ensure legitimacy and their interest in recruiting University of Alberta students and alumni. The Recruitment Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for employers, guiding them on the U of A context and effective recruitment strategies for their target populations. They will also refer employers to relevant Career Centre programs and services, as well as other campus career service providers, to ensure a positive recruitment experience. Key responsibilities include posting jobs daily, scheduling and coordinating approximately five career fairs and 40-60 employer information sessions annually, which attract a significant number of employers and students. The role also involves coordinating interviews and assisting with other recruitment and networking events.
