About The Position

Reporting to the Manager of Recruiting and Staffing, the Recruitment and Staffing Consultant is responsible for supporting health professional recruitment and staffing efforts across Nunavut for the Department of Health (Health). This position assists in the coordination and implementation of staffing processes for indeterminate, term, transfer assignments, and casual positions delegated to Health. The Recruitment and Staffing Consultant works with internal teams and external partners to support the recruitment of healthcare professionals in alignment with Health workforce planning needs. The position contributes to outreach initiatives, helps prepare recruitment materials, and supports efforts to promote the Government of Nunavut as an employer of choice.
