Modena Allergy + Asthma (MAA) is a rapidly growing allergy, asthma, and immunology clinic with practice locations across Southern California and Arizona. Our sister company, Orso Health, is a cutting-edge clinical research network that conducts Phase I-IV clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas. Together, they make up the Modena Allergy Health brand, which is associated with the highest standard of excellence in healthcare. We are looking for high energy individuals that are positive, collaborative, kind, and looking to grow as individuals, and that will help us grow into the premiere allergy practice and clinical research organization of the southwest. We are seeking a Clinical Recruiting Manager to manage the full-cycle recruitment of physicians and clinical & research staff across our allergy clinics in San Diego, Los Angeles, and upcoming locations across California, Arizona, and Idaho. This hybrid, full-time position, based in San Diego County, offers an exciting opportunity to help grow our team, improve the employee experience, and support MAA’s expansion.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of healthcare recruitment experience preferably in a clinical or specialty setting.
  • Familiarity with physician credentialing, healthcare staffing, and industry trends, particularly in allergy and immunology.
  • Proven experience using job boards, social media, and professional networks to source and engage candidates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, clinic leadership, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and email communication. Strong computer skills and typing abilities.
  • Experience working closely with internal teams to align recruitment goals, collaborate on hiring strategies, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously, ensuring timely placement and maintaining quality in a high-pressure environment.
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process, ensuring trust and transparency.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • College-level education, including health or medical-related courses.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with healthcare recruitment in allergy, asthma, or immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to presenting candidates, negotiating offers, and overseeing contract execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinic leadership, ensuring alignment with staffing needs and clinic goals.
  • Continuously source and screen potential candidates for current and future openings through job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Utilize proactive recruitment strategies to ensure a steady flow of highly qualified candidates ready for placement, including both active and passive candidates.
  • Proactively recruit by establishing relationships with local schools, programs, conferences.
  • Keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process and beyond.
  • Stay informed on industry trends such as physician supply and demand, compensation benchmarks, and healthcare regulations.
  • Coordinate and streamline onboarding processes, including paperwork, background checks, training schedules, and new hire orientations.
