About The Position

On Location is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support the LA28 Olympics program. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and People & Culture stakeholders to build strong talent pipelines and deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and inclusive hiring experience across a fast-moving, high-visibility project. The successful candidate will be a relationship-oriented recruiter who can quickly understand business needs, advise hiring managers, source talent creatively, and manage multiple priorities through to completion. This role is based in Los Angeles and requires working from the Los Angeles office at least four days per week.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a large, complex, or matrixed organization.
  • Experience proactively building qualified and diverse candidate pipelines for multiple types of roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage deadline-driven priorities and a high volume of work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and independent judgment.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system; Workday experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing or applying inclusive recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • A practical, solutions-oriented approach and a consistent focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Los Angeles office at least four days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own a full-cycle recruiting workload of approximately 15–25 requisitions at a time, depending on business needs and role complexity.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify talent needs, develop recruiting plans, and establish realistic timelines and selection processes.
  • Build qualified, diverse candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, networking, professional associations, career fairs, and other creative channels.
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial outreach through offer, providing timely communication and clear next steps throughout the process.
  • Conduct structured candidate assessments and provide thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations for hiring managers.
  • Advise hiring managers on interview design, candidate evaluation, market conditions, and recruiting best practices.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant recruiting activity and candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with the People & Culture Business Partner and other stakeholders as needed to support an effective hiring process.
  • Represent On Location at local career fairs and recruiting events to build awareness and attract talent.
  • Support inclusive sourcing and selection practices and help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen recruiting effectiveness and the candidate experience.
