About The Position

At Verstela, the Recruiter (Sales & Recruiting) helps talent, clients, and communities succeed. The role involves making daily sales calls to local businesses, visiting clients onsite, collaborating with hiring managers to develop staffing solutions, interviewing candidates, and providing jobseekers with mentorship and guidance. A large portion of the day is spent speaking by phone and emailing clients and candidates. The position combines recruiting and sales activities, including identifying candidates for open positions, setting meetings with prospective clients, supporting placed candidates, and building relationships with current and potential clients. Compensation is $28.00–$33.00 per hour, with monthly bonus opportunities. The position is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in a client-facing role.
At least two years of experience in a position requiring monthly quotas or sales goals.
Proven ability to resolve customer and employee issues creatively and effectively.

Responsibilities

Identify quality candidates to fill open positions.
Make outbound calls to set meetings with prospective clients.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and payroll management for placed candidates.
Build and maintain relationships with potential and current clients.
Strategize and create service delivery plans.
Visit clients onsite, collaborate with hiring managers on staffing solutions, and conduct candidate interviews.
