About The Position

The Recreation Supervisor runs the pool operation, monitoring the Pool Rentals team and Oceanside servers, supporting service needs, engaging with guests, and creating memorable vacation moments. The role involves overseeing daily pool operations, reservations and rentals, recreation activities, team communication, guest issue resolution, and department cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

• Experience or ability using Kronos for correcting missing punches and time edits.
• Experience or ability using Birchstreet for supply ordering.
• Experience or ability using Microsoft Outlook and Calendar.
• Experience or ability using Microsoft Excel.
• Experience or ability using Resort Suite for reservations and charging tickets.
• Experience or ability using Xola.
• Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to six hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and continuously.
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds regularly and continuously.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage pool opening and closing procedures, including associate readiness, cleanliness, and service opportunities.
• Deliver a clear daily stand-up plan for the Oceanside and Rentals teams at the start of each shift.
• Take guest reservations and arrange pool and beach rentals while creating a welcoming experience.
• Host and assist with daily craft offerings and camp themes.
• Demonstrate creativity, crowd management, and quality service in guest interactions.
• Handle guest complaints effectively and resolve issues with confidence.
• Communicate an end-of-day recap to management, including action items, staff issues, and required follow-up.
• Inspect department areas daily, monitor cleanliness and organization, and report safety hazards with follow-up.
• Work with multiple departments to meet guest needs and requests.
