About The Position

The City of Woodstock’s Recreation Department is hiring a part-time Recreation Outreach Coordinator. Working closely with the Recreation Program Manager, this position assists with day-to-day marketing and communications, social media content, promotional materials, community outreach, special events, and public communications. The role is non-exempt and paid hourly, with a starting rate of $21.58 and an average schedule of no more than 28 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of previous experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Illinois driver's license and a good driving record.
• Obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications within 90 days and maintain them.

Nice To Haves

• Basic graphic design, photography, and/or video editing skills.
