About The Position

The Recovery Specialist assists with daily store operations, including merchandising, stocking, freight processing, and customer service. The role helps maintain a clean, welcoming, safe, and respectful store environment and is cross-trained to operate the cash register and support front-end duties as needed. The position may also involve other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height, and to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
High level of integrity is required.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and according to productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Promote a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional, friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions at an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
