About The Position

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. The role provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards. This on-call position is with Heritage Psychiatric Health Facility, a 26-bed hospital providing acute psychiatric treatment to adults over age 18. Shift hours and days vary as needed across AM, PM, and NOC shifts. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and is subject to union membership requirements upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting, or a bachelor's degree and one year of experience in a mental health setting.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminology.
• CNA certification or equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge.
