About The Position

The Recovery Specialist I provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles. The position is with Redwood Place, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center serving adults ages 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness and a developmental disability. The role requires sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multicultural populations, a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance listing the employee as a driver, and willingness to use a company vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups. This is a full-time morning position with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The listed schedule alternates: the first week includes Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, plus Sunday; the second week includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Expected starting pay is $23.00, with geographic differentials and starting pay based on relevant experience above the minimum requirements. A $500 sign-on bonus is advertised, subject to eligibility restrictions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multicultural populations, through experience, volunteering, family relationships, coursework, or other exposure.
Valid and current driver’s license.
Personal vehicle insurance with the employee listed as a driver.
Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
