About The Position

The Recovery Specialist I provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles. The position is at Redwood Place, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center serving adult residents ages 18 and older who have been diagnosed with severe mental illness and a developmental disability.

This is a full-time AM position working 7:00 AM–3:30 PM on a rotating two-week schedule. The first week includes Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Sunday; the second week includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. The expected starting wage is $23.00, with geographic pay differentials and starting pay based on relevant experience above the minimum requirements. A $500 sign-on bonus is advertised; internal applicants and people employed with Telecare in the previous 12 months are ineligible.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multicultural populations, through exposure such as family relationships, volunteering, previous experience, or coursework.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle insurance with the applicant’s name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to transport clients to appointments, groups, and other activities.
