About The Position

The Recovery Specialist I provides care responsive to the physical and psychological needs of members served and consistent with recovery-centered care principles. This is an on-call position with days and shifts varying as needed. The role is associated with Redwood Place, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) serving adult residents ages 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness and a developmental disability. The expected starting wage is $23.00; pay ranges may vary by geographic location, and starting pay may reflect relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multicultural populations, such as through family relationships, volunteering, previous experience, or coursework.
Valid and current driver’s license.
Personal vehicle insurance listing the employee as a driver.
Willingness to use a company vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups.
