About The Position

The Recovery House Manager Care Manager is responsible for providing support and case management services to individuals residing in Renewal, Inc.’s sober living housing. This individual will work with residents to develop, implement and maintain a recovery plan, connect residents with various community resources to aid in their recovery and coordinates care with internal and external treatment providers. The Care Manager will monitor resident progress while they reside in recovery housing and ensure all residents are in compliance with program guidelines at all times. This individual will serve as an advocate for residents and their individual needs while at the same time promoting a positive recovery environment conducive to long-term sobriety through structure and accountability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding through lived experience of addiction treatment to include the 12-step program, treatment modalities, and recovery support systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • High level of personal ethical standards.
  • Proven skills in problem solving.
  • Research and computer skills necessary.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • 1 year of experience working in a residential, human services, substance abuse or community support setting.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
  • PA Act 33/Act 34 clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a Certified Recovery or Certified Peer Specialist.
  • An Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field.
