About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; works collaboratively to deliver daily club standards; and helps maintain a safe, positive environment for members and team members. The position requires regular, predictable, full attendance and may include duties in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise signage is proper.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins.
• Use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment and address or escalate member concerns as appropriate.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily GOLD member and club standards.
