About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance; replenishes and stocks merchandise; and keeps the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance while helping maintain a safe, positive, inclusive environment and delivering the club’s GOLD member and club standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, ensuring merchandise is properly signed.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise; fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins; and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support club standards by keeping items stocked, promotional plans executed, signage accurate and visible, and areas clean and organized.
• Deliver service excellence, address and de-escalate member concerns, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and team members, working collaboratively and respectfully.
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reports for the department and how execution affects business results.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
