About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role includes restocking merchandise across multiple departments, maintaining signage and club standards, handling cardboard and returned merchandise, and following club policies and procedures. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The position may also involve duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, and ensure merchandise has proper signage.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins; and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Complete required training and certification processes.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
