About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance; replenishes and stocks merchandise; and keeps the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance, contributes to a safe and positive environment, and works collaboratively to meet club standards and business goals. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, including milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food items.
• Ensure merchandise signage is proper and accurate.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins; and use the cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Complete required training and certification processes.
• Deliver service excellence, address and deescalate member concerns, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Work with the team to maintain daily GOLD club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining visible and accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and full attendance.
