About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; contributes to a safe and positive environment; and works collaboratively to meet daily club standards and business goals.

The clerk replenishes merchandise across dairy, freezer, food, and non-food areas; organizes apparel, books, and other products; removes cardboard and replenishes box bins; and returns reshop merchandise to the sales floor. The role may include working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.
• Ability to meet the physical demands described, including frequently lifting objects up to 50 pounds and potentially moving heavier or awkward objects with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, and ensure merchandise is properly signed.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases, replenish box bins, and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and reshop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Support the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Help ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members, address member concerns, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Work as a team to deliver daily GOLD club standards, including stocked items, executed promotional plans, accurate signage, and clean, organized spaces.
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
