About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role includes stocking a range of food and non-food products, maintaining accurate merchandise signage, handling cardboard, and returning merchandise to the sales floor. Team members support club policies and procedures, work collaboratively to achieve daily club standards, and help create a safe, positive experience for members and colleagues. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform the stated physical and environmental duties, including using a pallet jack and handling objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may require assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, including milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food products.
• Ensure merchandise signage is proper and accurate.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins and use a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support their application and compliance.
• Work with the team to meet GOLD club standards and maintain a safe, positive environment for members and colleagues.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
