About The Position

The Recovery Clerk provides members with prompt, courteous service and assistance while replenishing and stocking merchandise and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and organized. The role supports club policies, procedures, and compliance, and helps maintain a safe, positive environment for members and team members. The position requires reliable attendance and may include duties in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including frequently lifting objects up to 50 pounds and, with assistance, potentially moving heavy or awkward objects over 50 pounds.

• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise, including milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food items.
• Ensure merchandise signage is proper and accurate.
• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, full, and organized.
• Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
• Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; replenish box bins and use the cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
• Return returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
• Follow club policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Support daily GOLD Member and Club Standards, including a friendly member experience, stocked merchandise, executed promotional plans, visible accurate signage, and a clean, organized club.
• Work collaboratively to meet team goals and perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
