About The Position
The Receptionist welcomes visitors to the community, answers questions, ensures visitors sign guest sheets, and directs telephone calls to the appropriate residents and staff. The role also involves sorting, delivering, and collecting incoming and outgoing community and resident mail, maintaining visitor logs, and potentially performing basic office and clerical tasks. The Receptionist may respond to resident emergencies by contacting appropriate internal and external parties in accordance with community protocol.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors entering the community and answer their questions.
- Ensure visitors sign guest sheets.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the proper residents and staff.
- Sort, deliver, and collect incoming and outgoing community and resident mail.
- Perform basic office or clerical functions as requested.
- Maintain visitor logs.
- Respond to resident emergencies by contacting appropriate internal and external parties according to community protocol.
