The ideal Receptionist/Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, customers, and visitors. This role owns the front desk experience and ensures a professional, welcoming, and organized environment. This candidate can also be known as the “director of first impressions” possessing all Premier Marine’s core values: Integrity, Excellence, Attitude, and Collaboration. In addition to reception responsibilities, this position provides administrative support to the Sr. Director of People & Culture and the Leadership Team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone with dependable, polished, and eager to grow with the Premier Marine team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years minimum experience in receptionist, customer service, or office support

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors and employees in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and route appropriately
  • Monitor and manage visitor sign-in procedures
  • Coordinate candidate arrivals and interview logistics
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office area
  • Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Serve as first point of contact for general company inquires
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Prepare meeting materials and take notes as needed
  • Draft basic employee communications and announcements
  • Maintain organized and confidential employee files
  • Support onboarding paperwork and new hire scheduling
  • Help coordinate employee events and engagement activities
  • Assist with internal communications and postings
  • Assist with reporting and basic data entry
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative organization
