About The Position

Red White & Blue Thrift is seeking a hardworking, dedicated Supply Chain Associate to support operations behind the scenes. This physically demanding role involves loading, unloading, organizing, and lifting clothing, furniture, and miscellaneous donations. The associate also assists with donation pick-ups and fills trailers efficiently to maximize storage. The role requires teamwork, stamina, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Employees may interact regularly with customers, donors, and coworkers, and may be asked to switch tasks or work in different areas based on operational needs. The position takes place in a consistently busy, noisy, and brightly lit work environment, and may involve working in various weather conditions. A fundamental understanding of written and spoken English is needed to understand instructions, read road signs, and communicate with others.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment and maintain a steady pace throughout shifts.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English to comprehend instructions, read street signs, and communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and organize donations such as clothing, furniture, and other household items.
• Fill trailers with donations, stacking and securing items to maximize space and efficiency.
• Assist drivers on donation-pickup routes by loading and securing items.
• Maintain organized inventory by categorizing items and placing them in designated areas.
• Support thrift store operations by responding promptly to demands and requests.
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient and productive work processes.
• Take direction and complete tasks accurately in support of team goals.
• Work in different areas and switch tasks as assigned to meet operational needs.
