About The Position
Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers accurately and in a timely manner. Efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.
Requirements
- One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing conditions.
Responsibilities
- Transport incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using appropriate tools and vehicles, including hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
- Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Pick, pack, and ship materials and products.
- Process packages for shipping and process returned merchandise.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and replenish stock from backup locations as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts.
- Perform required administrative tasks and prepare required reports and correspondence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
