About The Position

Lift Operators are responsible for the safe daily operation of all on-mountain lifts. They are front-line employees who have frequent guest contact and directly affect the guest experience. The role requires a focus on job safety and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Operators work as part of a team and may be asked to flex with business and team needs; the position’s duties and requirements may change.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Safety-focused.
• Positive attitude in interactions with guests and staff.
• Use PPE when required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in adverse outdoor environments throughout the year.
• Able to learn lift controls and operation.
• Able to focus on lift operation while on duty.
• Flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and long hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate all lifts and lift systems daily.
• Maintain the cleanliness of lift terminal buildings.
• Set up and tear down lift corrals.
• Check tickets.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Remove snow.
• Maintain loading and unloading areas to specification.
• Load and unload chairs and carpets.
• Interact positively with guests and staff.
• Assist with other projects or duties as assigned.
