About The Position

The Receiver verifies receipt of incoming products, including the size, quantity, and quality of orders. The responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to work nights.
• Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
• Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations on or before the start date in the position.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds (85 pounds in the Boxed Meat/Dairy Warehouse).
• Be able to bend, stoop, and twist.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Be able to operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside the operator compartment.
• Successfully complete the Following Written Instructions and Basic Office Skills and Matching - Alphanumeric tests before the start date in the position.
• Be able to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
• Be a current Lakeland Distribution associate.
