About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your work area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, involves spending most of the shift on your feet, and may be scheduled during mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight based on store needs. You may also help customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude.

You will keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight and moving products to the sales floor, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Depending on the store, additional Pro Fulfillment duties may include picking, staging, and loading Flatbed Delivery orders and communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction.

The position does not require regular travel, although occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor settings, varying climates and weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
• Follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; use team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
• Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

• Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
• Work as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
• At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
• At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
• At Pro Fulfillment Stores, rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
• At Pro Fulfillment Stores, communicate proactively with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction.
• At Pro Fulfillment Stores, execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
