As a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, safely handling equipment and hazardous materials, and preparing the work area for daily operations. It is physical and fast-paced, with most of the shift spent on your feet. Work hours may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight, depending on store needs. Associates may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. The position supports store operations by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, organizing backrooms, verifying deliveries, and keeping workspaces clean and safe. Depending on store needs, associates may use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, along with scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools. Additional Pro Fulfillment Store duties include picking and staging flatbed delivery orders and ensuring delivery readiness and customer satisfaction. The role may involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and climate conditions, exposure to noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment, and lifting. Associates must follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or nearby-store support.
