About The Position

As a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, SpartanNash is a food solutions company that delivers grocery and household goods through a global supply chain network. The Receiver / Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise. The role also pulls and stages orders for delivery, unloads inbound shipments, loads outbound shipments, and moves products to dispersing trailers. The operator is responsible for safe and efficient vehicle operation and for keeping facility equipment neat, clean, and orderly.

This position is at 3030 Main Ave, Fargo, North Dakota 58103, and pays $22 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 1 a.m. and ending when work is finished. Associates may also be assigned to work weekends, holidays, days or nights, and overtime as necessary. Shifts may be 8–10 hours, as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic technical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent sitting, walking, standing, handling, grasping, twisting, foot-control operation, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to changes in temperature and humidity and moderate-to-high noise levels.
• Ability to work assigned 8–10-hour shifts and, as necessary, weekends, holidays, days, nights, and overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Certification may be preferred.

Responsibilities
