JMT is ranked #45 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms. The Real Property Specialist is responsible for acquiring real estate for infrastructure projects. Immigration sponsorship or support, including H1B and F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, is unavailable for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for TN visa classification.
Responsibilities
- Review and understand title research and reports.
- Prepare complex land acquisition forms and paperwork.
- Understand the current market value of subject land, including appraisals.
- Conduct very complex negotiations with landowners to secure properties through purchase, donation, or condemnation.
- Communicate clearly, respectfully, and patiently with property owners.
- Manage time, schedules, and deadlines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
