About The Position

The Real Property Specialist is responsible for acquiring real estate for infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing title research and reports, preparing complex land acquisition forms and paperwork, understanding the current market value of land, and negotiating with landowners to secure properties through purchase, donation, or condemnation. The position also requires clear, respectful, and patient communication with property owners and effective management of time, schedules, and deadlines. Immigration sponsorship or support, including H-1B and F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, is unavailable except for qualified candidates eligible for TN visa classification.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand title research and reports.
• Prepare complex land acquisition forms and paperwork.
• Understand the current market value of subject land, including appraisals.
• Conduct complex negotiations with landowners to secure properties through purchase, donation, or condemnation.
• Communicate clearly, respectfully, and patiently with property owners.
• Manage time, schedules, and deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
