About The Position

Redfin is hiring an Associate Agent in Omaha to work with customers on a flexible schedule as an independent contractor. Associate Agents show homes, host open houses, and attend inspections. The role offers field-based work without required office visits, sales pressure, contracts, or closings. Agents are paid a flat rate per field event and can access optional educational services to develop their skills. Applicants may be new or experienced agents; the position requires an active real estate license in the state where they will work and exclusive affiliation of that license with Redfin. The role also requires joining the local MLS and Realtor Association, having a reliable way to travel throughout the market, and having or obtaining a smartphone, laptop, and GPS. Redfin conducts background screening for this role. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; if there is no current opening in the applicant's area, Redfin may retain their information for future contract opportunities.

Requirements

• Hold a real estate license in the state where they will work.
• Be willing to affiliate their real estate license exclusively with Redfin.
• Have a smartphone, laptop, and GPS, or be willing to obtain them.
• Be willing to join the local MLS and Realtor Association.
• Have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the market.
