About The Position

Redfin is hiring an Associate Agent in Grants Pass. This role is suited to new agents building their skills and experienced agents seeking flexibility. Associate Agents work with customers on their own schedules and earn money for field events without needing to close transactions. The work is performed remotely in the field, with no office visits required. Optional educational services are available at no cost. Applicants may be able to start earning within 14 days, subject to the application process and an opening in the area.

As an independent contractor, the Associate Agent receives a flat-rate payment per field event. The role involves showing homes, hosting open houses, and attending inspections. Agents set their hours and control their workloads; customer activity is especially high on weekends. There is no sales pressure, contract work with customers, or responsibility for closings.

Applicants submit an application and may be invited to a video screen if they meet minimum qualifications. A recruiter will provide next steps if an opening is available in the applicant’s area; otherwise, Redfin may retain the applicant’s information and contact them when contract opportunities arise. Redfin conducts background screening for this role, consistent with applicable law, and considers qualified applicants with criminal record histories.

Requirements

• Hold a real estate license in the state where the work will be performed.
• Be willing to affiliate the license exclusively with Redfin.
• Have a smartphone, laptop, and GPS, or be willing to obtain them.
• Be willing to join the local MLS and Realtor Association.
• Have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the market.
