About The Position

Envoy Air is hiring Ramp and Customer Service Agents at Lafayette Regional Airport. This entry-level position combines passenger-facing customer service with ramp and baggage-handling work. Agents greet passengers and provide check-in and ticketing assistance, use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes, and help ensure courteous and efficient customer service. They also load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage; lift bags onto belts; and use company vehicles to transport bags. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors, including on the tarmac and in all weather conditions. Envoy offers paid on-the-job training and development. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

Requirements

• Be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license, or otherwise maintain the authority and identification necessary to travel for business needs; some license restrictions may prohibit consideration.
• Be 18 years or older.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Interact with customers in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely while helping achieve on-time departures and arrivals.
• Lift customers’ bags onto the belt.
• Use company vehicles to transport bags to their destination.
