About The Position

Envoy Air is hiring a Ramp and Customer Service Agent at Lafayette Regional Airport. This entry-level role combines passenger-facing customer service and airport ramp duties. Agents greet passengers, provide check-in and ticketing assistance, use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes, and handle baggage, mail, and freight. Ramp work includes lifting and sorting luggage and using company vehicles on the tarmac. The position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. Shifts may vary and include irregular or extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Paid on-the-job training and development programs are provided. Both full-time and part-time positions are available; this posting is for a part-time role. The listed pay rate is $13.80 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant state driver’s license, or otherwise maintain the necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs; some license restrictions may disqualify candidates.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and provide a courteous, efficient, and friendly check-in and ticketing experience.
• Use reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes.
• Lift customers’ bags onto the belt and assist passengers with baggage.
• Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely while supporting on-time departures and arrivals.
• Use company vehicles on the tarmac to transport bags to their destinations.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
