About The Position

Unifi is seeking a Ramp Agent to support airline ground services and help aircraft and passengers reach their destinations safely. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role is responsible for marshalling aircraft, handling baggage and freight, and may include aircraft cabin service and de-icing duties. Ramp Agents operate ramp equipment and follow company safety and operational standards while working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on rotating shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds; constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Able and open to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.
• Able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Marshall arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-icing.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material to and from aircraft bins, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• As assigned, service aircraft cabins, clean lavatories and cabins, and restock supplies and other items.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies and complete work according to company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capability expectations for the position.
