About The Position

As a Ramp Agent, you work as part of a team to deliver safe and efficient aircraft services while providing a high level of customer service and keeping cargo and aircraft moving safely and on time. The role includes loading and unloading freight, handling cargo pallets and containers, operating equipment, and verifying shipment information. The position is part-time and works Monday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $17.50 per hour. Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process is required for this location, and a Real ID or valid passport is required.

Requirements

Successfully complete the SIDA airport badging or background check process required for this location.
Have a Real ID or valid passport.
Be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear efficiently; lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds at times; climb ladders up to 15 feet; and perform prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

Properly and safely load and unload freight, including building up and breaking down cargo pallets and freight containers according to guidelines.
Maintain equipment certifications and operate equipment safely.
Obtain proper security documents for all shipments.
Verify shipment pieces, weight, dimensions, and airworthiness upon receipt from the customer.
Verify shipment pieces and airway bill numbers upon delivery to the customer.
