About The Position

We are seeking a Ramp Agent to join the airport team. The role handles the loading, unloading, and transport of luggage, cargo, and other items to and from aircraft. It requires attention to detail, physical strength, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in various weather conditions.

This is an AM Operations position. Jet arrival times are Monday at 3:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday at 6:30 AM, and Sunday at 5:00 AM. The operation runs for three hours, and the employee will be paid for three hours even if the operation finishes early. The position is scheduled for 18 hours per week and pays $18.40 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage, cargo, and other items onto and off of aircraft.
• Safely operate ground support equipment such as tugs, tractors, belt loaders, and forklifts.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations while working on the ramp.
• Communicate with pilots, flight crews, and ground personnel to ensure efficient aircraft turnaround.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Report issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
